Position Overview:

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a reliable CDL Driver/Warehouse Assistant to join their client's team in Garner, North Carolina. This role requires a professional who is comfortable with local and occasional regional deliveries, with the potential for overnight stays when necessary. The position offers a promising pay structure with scheduled increases and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Driving a commercial vehicle to deliver goods locally within Raleigh and occasionally to Richmond or Georgia, based on product demand.
• Assisting in the warehouse with tasks as needed, ensuring efficient operations and inventory management.
• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
• Ensuring that the delivery vehicle is well-maintained and adheres to safety standards.
• Coordinating with the warehouse team to prepare and load products for delivery.
• Providing excellent customer service by ensuring timely and safe delivery of products.
• Adhering to all transportation and safety regulations during delivery and warehouse operations.

Requirements:

• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in driving commercial vehicles, with knowledge of regional roads and highways.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing delivery schedules.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle physical tasks in the warehouse.
• Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.

Required Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 1st Shift

Benefits:

• Competitive pay starting at $24-$25 per hour with scheduled $1 increases every six months for two years.

Additional Details:

The pay structure offers an earning potential of $56,160 in the first year and $60,320 in the second year, with a maximum pay of $25 per hour.
